The upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows Server 2016 is pretty straightforward.
The only thing you need to do is install the latest version of Plex Media Player.
But, if you’re going to upgrade from an earlier version of Windows, then you might as well wait a little while to do so.
To upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8, simply go to Settings > Personalization > Media Center > Select an upgrade.
To upgrade to the latest Windows 10 build, you’ll need to click the ‘Next’ button and then select ‘Continue’.
The upgrade process should take around an hour, depending on the version of your PC you’re upgrading to.
If you don’t have a Windows 10 machine to use, the process can be a little more complicated.
But, if your PC is just a little old, you might be able to get a free upgrade with a Windows 7 installation, so long as you can install the update from the Microsoft Download Center.
The Microsoft Download Centre is the place to go for all your Windows 10 needs.
We’ve got a guide on how to do this.
But if you have a Mac or Linux machine and you want to upgrade to a new OS, there’s another method.
