NHL players are getting a taste of what it’s like to be on the ice and on the bench when they meet up with their teams in a game of ice hockey.
That’s the takeaway from the annual NHL Players Association Winter Skills Game on Saturday in Nashville.
The event is open to all NHL players who are at least 16 years old and who are eligible to participate.
It will be played at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, where the Predators play.
The players will have to stay on the court for a minimum of 30 seconds before the game begins.
Here are some tips to be sure to keep your ice skills sharp during the event.
What to bring to the game Players should bring a helmet, gloves, face mask and a scarf for the game.
You can also wear a hat for the first 20 minutes of the game, and then a cap for the last 20 minutes.
