The popularity of the popular multiplayer online game Discord has been growing rapidly over the past few years.
Now, it’s gaining a loyal following on social media.CBC News contacted the developers of the game and learned that there are over 150,000 registered users.
They’re not the only ones, either.
The game’s developers also said the server list for the game is more than 15,000 users, and the email list is over 3 million subscribers.CBC spoke to several players on Discord and they told CBC they were frustrated that they could only sign up for one of the services.
“I’ve been playing it for a couple of months and I just don’t feel like I can join the servers,” one player said.
“If they have a server that is a friend-only server, that doesn’t matter because it’s not really a game,” another said.CBC’s Matt Daley spoke to one of Discord’s developers, who said there is a system in place to allow people to join games without a password.CBC reached out to Discord and received this statement:The community is very generous with the way they invite new people to participate in the game.
If you are new to the game, we encourage you to try out the first few servers that you see and try to make friends.
Discord is a great place to get to know new people, and we encourage everyone to come and play with others.
We will continue to grow the community, and are excited about the future.
