For example, if you’re using Google’s Chrome browser, there may be a delay between the page loading and the video playback, and you might be getting slower video quality, according to a report from CNNMoney.
On average, the network found, about half of Brazilians access the internet at home, with more than a third accessing it via video-on-demand.
There are also reports that Brazilians using smartphones are less satisfied with their internet service, with the average Brazilian’s score of satisfaction dropping by 6 points.
In Brazil, the most popular smartphones are the Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone 8, and the LG V30.
In the U.S., Samsung tops the smartphone rankings, followed by Apple and Google.
A CNNMoney report from August 2017 found that many Brazilians, especially older adults, are struggling with the cost of internet service.
The study found that Brazil’s average monthly internet bill rose by 8% from 2016 to 2017.
Meanwhile, the average monthly cost of a mobile phone rose by 17% in the same period.
A 2015 survey by the Internet and Society Forum found that only about one-third of Brazil’s population was connected to the internet.
According to CNNMoney, the number of Brazilian adults with smartphones has grown by nearly 15% in recent years.
A 2016 report by the Pew Research Center estimated that the smartphone is the single most used smartphone in Brazil.
The country’s internet service provider, Comision de Telefonica, estimated in May that more than half of the country’s population is online at home.
